22d22: High St, 1979 - The Old Town

'12 BOND' was a former bonded warehouse on High St., and either no longer exists or has been altered beyond recognition. The 12 was presumably a warehouse number rather than a street number. Hull Brewery had a bonded warehouse at 42-43 High St, between Bishop Lane Staith and Danish Buildingsin a space now occupied by a more modern structure with a large sign reading 'Bond 31' at 42/3 High St, and I think the northern half of this is a replacement for warehouse in this picture.
