Still Occupied
Images on this site are arranged into rough areas by location as in my book 'Still Occupied', available on Blurb. Eventually this site will contain all the images in that book and more.
Nelson Street is already paved with interlocking bricks, work is going on to replace the old pavements, and walls are in place to make this a tourist attraction at least for those living in the city. You can see the Humber over the walls with the heads of a few visitors looking out over the river. The two men driving pony carts are there for an afternoon outing too. I was there with family and we were more interested in the sweets from G Stevens than the Minerva.
